Lagoon Catamarans - LAGOON 42

For about a decade now, I have been renting from Sailoé (Lorient and Seychelles) on various types of vessels for several weeks each year: Archambault, Pogo, Oléa, First 31.7 to 45, Lagoon, and more. Stéphane and his team are sailing enthusiasts, whether it's racing or cruising. We have learned a great deal from them, never hesitating to seek advice on various aspects such as adjustments, safety, navigation, anchoring, weather, and more. Our conversations are always empathetic, free from judgment.

Regarding their fleet, we have never encountered any issues: the boats are exceptionally clean and technically flawless. I recommend Sailoé to all my acquaintances with full confidence. Stéphane offers numerous solutions even in the event of last-minute changes. Looking forward to next Friday! ?

As part of our family's long cruise project, we allowed ourselves to be guided, advised, and trained by the ACV team. We set sail in 2018 with a new Lagoon 42 purchased through leasing. Throughout our adventure, they were always responsive to our after-sales requests (which were few in reality). With our journey concluded by the end of 2020, they are still by our side for the delivery and resale of the boat.- Alice and Sébastien.

Deciding to address a professional hirer is above all the choice of service. It is certainly more expensive (and even more so) than renting a boat from a private individual on the internet, but it is without comparison:
Above all because the sea is a land of adventure and not of consumption, the insurance of a boat in perfect condition and therefore a guarantee of security that your family and friends deserve.
Then the advice, on the choice of boat, the navigation program, the way to gybe with a double sheet spinnaker, double arm... A professional has necessarily an experience and a pedagogy at the best level.
I've been renting for all this for many years with you. I find year after year and with the same pleasure the smile of Stéphane, Quentin and the others. I thank them very warmly.

From experience, the choice of a dealership for purchasing a new boat should be based on the after-sales service, as it is crucial to the boat's delivery. Indeed, during the first few years, fine-tuning the boat will reveal numerous minor to major issues that will require intervention. A couple in their sixties, who had never sailed before but clung to their dreams and decided to live on the sea. After much thought, we chose a Lagoon 450 S, the owner's version, and went to ACV in LORIENT, which is as close as possible to our home. ACV is a team of professionals who adapt to each individual by assessing needs, listening, and providing relevant advice. The boat, thus prepared, allowed us to live for 2 years already. We realized our dream, a trouble-free round-trip transatlantic journey. Who would have thought it!

It's my first rental. And it won't be my last.
All the preparation for the outing (Ascension 2012 on 4 days) was managed quietly, the exchanges by email or telephone allowed us to be ready to board.
Handling without worries, efficient (replacement of winch cranks a little worn. Assistance in reassembling the lazy-jack ;-).
The boat, the A40: what happiness. Surfing at over 18 knots, less than three hours between Concarneau and Port-Tudy. Sails that can be shaped as you wish. A vast cockpit ideal for manoeuvring. State-of-the-art tactical equipment.
After two days, we find that it is not "Spartan" enough. We can still lighten her up a bit.
That's it, I still have to get back in shape to leave with, or with another.

For almost ten years, we have been renting monohulls and catamarans with ACV every summer as a family. When we decided to purchase a catamaran for our family's world tour and after visiting several boat shows, we learned that ACV had become a Lagoon dealer. Our choice naturally fell on ACV for a Lagoon 450s. Upon delivery in 2019 and for nearly three months, the ACV team prepared our future home according to our requirements and their advice: water desalination system, solar panels, wind turbine, downwind sails, dinghy and outboard, offshore equipment, and more.

Today, almost two years after our departure, we are in the Tuamotus, and we do not regret our choice of model, dealer, and technical choices made with simplicity in mind, because on the other side of the world, a minor technical issue can quickly become a major problem.

Excellent structure, the boats are at the top, the staff are reactive, welcoming and professional. I recommend without fear, we have sailed 7 boats from Lorient and 70 people. We'll do it again without worry.

I went through ACV/SAILOE for the purchase of an A31, in preparation for the Transquadra 2018. Stéphane Bariou and his entire team found us an exceptional second-hand boat, brought it back to a like-new condition, and supported us throughout our project with great professionalism.
