For about a decade now, I have been renting from Sailoé (Lorient and Seychelles) on various types of vessels for several weeks each year: Archambault, Pogo, Oléa, First 31.7 to 45, Lagoon, and more. Stéphane and his team are sailing enthusiasts, whether it's racing or cruising. I used Lagoon 38 of SAILOE in may for a small family trip. Boat is great, I am certified skipper but we decided to take local skipper for local knowledge. Captain Dan was great, polite and knowledgeable. Overnight anchoring in Anse Lazio on Praslin island is a beautiful anchoring spot.

We have just acquired an Oceanis 46 from ACV. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the delivery, with work and deadlines being respected. The professionals at ACV were dedicated throughout, and even after a roughly 200-mile convoy, everything went smoothly. It was all flawless. This is our 11th boat, and honestly, I highly recommend ACV for their professionalism and kindness.

The experience of these 3 days and 3 nights will forever remain one of the best moments of our lives. The kindness of Derek, the skipper, his way of sharing his love for the Seychelles, the gargantuan meals he prepared for us with so much pleasure and imagination. The highlight of our cruise in the Seychelles was undoubtedly the encounter with the manta rays. Their impressive wingspan and elegance in the water were simply breathtaking. We were also fortunate to see sea turtles basking on the white sand beaches. The multicolored corals and schools of tropical fish added a touch of beauty to every dive we did. I highly recommend this experience to all nature and marine life enthusiasts.

Catamaran Charter
We chartered a Lagoon 38 Catamaran with a Skipper for two couples. Our Skipper, George, was fantastic! The boat was clean and everything was in working order. We didn't love the first night and last night moored on Eden Island because the boat is moored near a discotech club that boomed all night both nights, but that was really our only complaint of the whole week.
Our first day, we sailed (not motored) to Curieuse Island just off Praslin and George helped us cook the Tuna that we caught that day for dinner. The rest of the week was a blur of Giant Tortoises, SCUBA Diving, Snorkeling, and Sailing around Praslin and Le Digue Islands before making the crossing back to Mahe Island.
This was truly a memorable trip, made all the better by our skipper and new friend, George.
